About Me
Originally from Cornwall, Tyler began performing from a very young age, originating from a range of youth theatre groups to attending summer courses at Theatre Royale Plymouth. As a now 21 year old professional actor and writer, Tyler started his professional training at 18, attending the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, where he is currently based having recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in Acting and Performance.

It was here at UCA that he began and continued to study practitioners such as Stanislavski, Brecht, Chekov as well as a multitude of others. Alongside this, he had the chance to work with industry professionals such as Stephen North, Nathan Hannawin, Mike Sherman and voice training from Paula Stephens. He is also versed in both classical and contemporary theatre from playing Avery in "The Flick" (directed by Mike Sherman), and "Trinculo" in "The Tempest" directed by Gary Pillai. From Silent films, Social Realism and to Verbatim - Tyler is also trained in various versions of screen work.
Tyler also got training in Stage Combat by Bethan Clarke, gaining confidence in performing punching, knives, falls and kicks. Pia Rickman, an intimacy coordinator, also trained Tyler in industry standards around consent and performing choreographed intimacy in a safe working environment. As a working actor, this has equipped him with the skills to efficiently pick up intimacy choreography and stage combat.
Collaborating with many up-and-coming film directors at his time at U.C.A, acting in several short films of varying genres, granted him the opportunity to demonstrate his vast emotional range. With a native Southern English accent, Tyler has also trained in Generalised American and Cornish Accents, alongside having basic knowledge of British Sign Language which he aspires to develop in the future. Tyler is currently seeking representation and hopes to be signed in the near future.
His main focus is acquiring representation alongside performing in film and television, and getting auditions for varied stage works - adapting and building an extensive portfolio.
